San Francisco, Calif. — Exigen Group, a global provider of business process software and services, has appointed Alex Stein as general manager of its government solutions group. In this role, Stein will be responsible for leading the company's government initiatives, streamlining and automating business processes for public sector organizations.
Prior to joining Exigen, Stein was co-founder and chief executive officer of Datamax Technologies Inc., a workflow technology company that was acquired by Exigen Group in January 2000. At Datamax Technologies, he was responsible for growing the company to over 120 customers within the government, insurance and banking industries.
Stein comes to Exigen with more than 15 years of experience in the technology industry and was a pioneer of business process management software. Prior to Datamax, Stein was a consultant for five years with Wang Computers.
